Our Story
Transforming India Since 2016
Abadha Foundation began its journey in 2016 with a strong belief that true development starts from rural India, where over 68.9% of the population resides. Since then, we have educated over 10,000 students, empowered 5,000+ women through skill development programs in fashion designing and beauty services, and conducted health camps across 300+ villages with measurable impact.
We’ve witnessed remarkable transformations: women starting their own businesses and gaining financial independence, and children overcoming educational barriers to complete school and become change-makers.
In 2024, we expanded our mission to raise awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare and often ignored genetic disorder. By leveraging social media and modern communication platforms, we’ve reached thousands, onboarded celebrities, and sparked a nationwide conversation.
Starting in June 2025, we began expanding PAN India, focusing on sensitization programs for underprivileged communities in urban areas. Through hygiene awareness, education, skill-building, and engagement with children in orphanages, we aim to empower urban populations and bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to every life we touch.
Our Mission
Transforming Lives, Building Futures
We aim to drive meaningful change by empowering rural communities through a holistic development model that promotes education, health, women’s leadership, and sustainable livelihoods. Our mission is rooted in inclusive growth and long-term impact.
We are also committed to raising awareness about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) across India. Through outreach and education, we work to ensure access to essential treatment, promote early detection through genetic counseling, and reduce future cases. Beyond advocacy, we stand with individuals and families affected by DMD by providing support, guidance, and a strong circle of care.
Our Vision
A Stronger, Inclusive India for All
We envision a future where rural and urban communities thrive, every person is educated, women are empowered and aware of their rights, and equal opportunities are available to all. We see an India free from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, where no child suffers from this disorder, and every family lives with dignity, hope, and the chance to create a stronger, brighter, and more inclusive future for themselves and the nation.
