Abadha Gram Vikas
Abadha Gram Vikas is the first initiative of Abadha Foundation, launched in 2016 from the village of Hardoli (Ambagad) in Maharashtra. This program focuses on comprehensive rural development, recognizing that 68.9% of India’s population lives in villages. For true national progress, rural areas must be equally developed. Due to limited access, awareness, and opportunities, rural communities often face serious challenges in healthcare, education, women’s rights, and skill development. Through this initiative, we aim to address these gaps and build self-reliant, empowered communities.
Urban Sensitization
Abadha Nagar Vikas
Abadha Nagar Vikas is an initiative by Abadha Foundation, launched in June 2025 from Delhi to support underprivileged communities and orphaned children in urban areas across major metro cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata. In partnership with trusted NGOs, the program focuses on hygiene awareness, education, skill-building, and spreading joy. We conduct sessions on key health topics, including menstrual hygiene with pad distribution, and spend time with children in orphanages to ensure they feel cared for. Through these efforts, we aim to empower urban communities, foster happiness, and help every child grow with dignity, hope, and opportunity.
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
Duchenne India
Duchenne India is an initiative by Abadha Foundation, launched on 7th September 2024, on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Day. It aims to raise awareness about this rare and fatal genetic disorder, which affects only boys and leads to 100% mortality by the late teens. The program highlights two critical needs: access to international medication, which remains unavailable in India, and the importance of standardized disease management, including early detection and prevention. With limited public knowledge and policy support, Duchenne India works to bring national attention to this urgent issue, so every affected child has a fair chance to live with dignity, care, and hope.
